These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date above).
Prices
All prices and charges on this site are in UK pounds. They include any VAT payable, but exclude delivery charges for outside the UK.
We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However, just occasionally, an error can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it.
Guarantees
All guarantees for products are provided entirely by the manufacturers and are subject to terms contained therein. Purchasers are reminded to complete all warranty cards, documents upon receipt of goods where appropriate.
Books & CDs Returns Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please check the goods on delivery and ensure that they are supplied correctly. If any goods prove to be unsuitable please return them within 7 days in the original packaging and in an unused condition for a full refund less our postage costs.
- Goods must be returned within 10 days of receipt goods;
- Goods must be as original and must be in the original packaging
When returning items please obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office as we will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit back to us. Any substitute goods should be ordered through the website as a new order in the usual way as we do not offer an exchange service.
Some items do not travel well in jiffy bags. It is your responsibility that they are packed so as to avoid damage in the post as goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition. If any returns received by us are not in a re-saleable condition, we may only offer a credit of 50% of the retail value of the goods to be given against a future order with us.

Your Rights
Stephen Kember compiles with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations. This means that shopping with Stephen Kember Ltd. is safe. Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched up to 7 days from receipt (see Return Policy). Our Terms and Condition do not affect your statutory rights.
Training Programme Dates and Venues
Stephen Kember Ltd. reserves the right to alter or cancel published dates and change venues without liability.
In the event of a cancellation where an alternative cannot be provided, monies received in respect of that course will be refunded in full.
Training Programme Reservations
We can only guarantee to hold a reservation on a course which has been confirmed in writing either by post, fax, e-mail or web.
Training Programme Joining Instructions
On receipt of written confirmation we will issue complete joining instructions detailing your participation on the training event. This includes, a location map, course information, venue details and course timings.
Training Programme Confirmation of a Booking
To make a booking, please complete all the details at: www.stephenkember.com
Bookings made via this website are considered confirmed and you need do no more. We will then contact you to confirm the availability of the date requested, and that your place has been secured.
Training Programme Fees
Each course fee includes coffee on arrival, morning coffee, afternoon tea and full course documentation.
Training Programme Delegate Substitution
If you want to make a substitution, please call us on 0844 2320908 and we will be happy to help you.
Substitutions can be made at any time without incurring a penalty.
Training Programme Payments
Payment can be made by cheque, credit, debit card and must be received 7 days prior to attending the course.
Training Programme Cancellations
If you need to cancel please call us on 0844 2320908 and we will be happy to help you.
The following charges apply if you cancel:
30+ days before a course = £30.00 administration fee.
14 - 30 days before a course = 50% of the course fee.
7 - 14 days before a course = 75% of the course fee.
0 - 7 days before a course = 100% of the course fee.
Training Programme: Why do we charge cancellation fees?
Stephen Kember Ltd. specialises in providing training in small groups. We will run a course with as little as 4 delegates. This ensures that there is less chance of postponements and that our training is always highly tailored to participants. It is because of this policy we have the above cancellation fees. If you rebook the same course, then you will only be liable for 50% of the above penalties e.g. If you call to transfer a delegate 15 days before he/she is due to attend a course to a later course date the penalty will be 25% of the course fee.
